I'm an author and, having posted several stories here, I've come up with an idea.
I could (not will, haven't got permission yet) write Just Gotta as a novel, not a comic!
All those in favour, say so. All against, also say so.

You could . . . But a several of the chapters are already written out. I write out chapters where a fan character appears so the submitter can see what their character can do. I plan to continue doing this from now on, even when there isn't a fan character.

So it sorta seems . . . pointless . . . but I guess you really could if you wanted to.

I started soon after the previous comment. Here's a sample!

"We are on schedule," a mysterious voice said. "The preparations have been made. Everything is ready."

"Very good." another voice replied. "Proceed as planned."

Chapter 1

Elsewhere, somebody was in trouble. He sat across the room, DS slippy in his hands.

"She's got that look!" another boy whispered to the girl next to him, muttering about the first boy's opponent.

"Yeah, he's doomed," the other replied. "But what can you expect when he's up against the Mewtwo Queen?" in the room next door, two more girls were playing with pokémon cards. One looked up, and told the other

"Looks like your sister is about to win, Shellee."

"Of course she is." Shellee replied without even looking away from her hand. A thin trickle of sweat ran down the boy's face as yet another of his pokémon fainted. Down to one.

"You shouldn't show fear." the Mewtwo Queen commented, a smug grin on her face. Angered, the boy slammed his DS shut and stood up, yelling

"It's not fair! You've been using cheat codes again, haven't you?"

No... I don't think it's a good idea.

No offense, I would love to see a Just Gotta novel, but the story seems to work best as a comic. And with all due respect I can't see a novel of Vye's story being written by anyone but her.
Your writing is pretty good, but write your own stuff even if it's fanfiction. (Just Gotta fanfiction? Now there's an idea!) I think re-reading the same story told by someone else in a different format could just be monotonous.

I suppose that's so, but there's a possibility that the second writer of the story will have seen it in a different way to what the original author had in mind. It's for that reason I've finished Chapter 1.

Kinda hate to tell you a flat out no when you are so dedicated and stuff. I still just don't see a point in doing it. But if you must, you must I guess.
