So . . . A week ago or so, I ordered the "Into the Woods" DVD and Soundtrack so I could put the songs on my iPod. I've been a fan of the show for as long as I can remember, see. My parents took me to it when I was little. (Which lead to one of those embarrassing little kid stories your family loves to talk about and you just have to shake your head at yourself . . . But at any rate . . .) We had the show recorded from TV and I think my family has the DVD, but I wanted my own copy, you see. I have quite a collection built up myself.

So I listened through the CD and then after finishing today's Just Mewtwo page, I went and watched the whole thing. Man, I really, really like that show. My favorite character is either the Witch or the Baker's Wife. Red isn't too bad either . . . Anyway, to the point of this topic . . .

For some reason, which admittingly isn't that odd actually, the though occurred to me that I should make a comic about it! And then I was like, no, I shouldn't. But the idea kept pestering me. I concluded for a while that the show was fine as is and there would really be much to it that I could contribute or whatever that would make reading the comic worthwhile. You could just go see the play to get the story and whatnot.

And then it hit me after reading some stuff on Wikipedia, (I Wikipedia stuff when I'm obsessing,) the comic could be about what happens AFTER the play is over. It's been stuff I always theorized about and stuff. I thought it might be fun then to bring in new fairy tales and thought of a couple things to do.

Of course, I already have Just Gotta and its two side comics. I also have two comic projects in the background that need more of my attention. ANOTHER comic probably isn't a good idea . . . even if it would be a lot of fun.

So . . . TALK ME OUT OF IT!! I'm pretty sure it's just one of those ideas that you think is really good at the time but then you get bored of it really fast. It might just go away on it's own if I'm able to fight it off long enough. You guys can just help me by giving your support. Er, by NOT supporting me I guess . . .

That or find me a good artist looking for a fantasy type project and isn't very busy . . . Heh.
