So I almost have the rest of Chapter 12 drawn out, but I'm worried that the second half will be just too confusing. It's supposed to be a bunch of hints of things to come and stuff that has happened before and what is going on in the background. It's supposed to get you thinking and asking questions. But I can't help but think it's just a bit TOO on the confusing side. Sure, it isn't all meant to be understood at this point, but it shouldn't just confuse you. That'd be annoying.
It's hard to tell what to do at this point because the conversation makes perfect sense to me, but that's obvious because I already know what's going on. I thought about showing it to my sister, but she also already knows what's going on. So I wondered how I could so it to fans without everyone reading it.
So I thought maybe I'd put it up here on the forum, (in text form,) and you forum members and visitors can get a sneak peek at it and tell me if I need to make changes. Remember that it's not meant to be perfectly clear, but I don't want it to like fry your brains or something. So here goes:
******
Meanwhile . . .
Dialga hummed to himself absentmindedly. He sat alone in a vaste space. Or so he thought.
"Dialga!"
Dialga looked towards the voice, a bit surprised. It was Palkia. He was glaring at him angrily.
"Oh, hi, Palkia!" Dialga greeted warmly.
"Don't you 'Hi' me!" Palkia snarled, hitting Dialga over the head.
"Ow! What?" Dialga blurted.
"You know what!" he accused. "Ven! Ven is there! And Deoxys too! In the same world, city even, that she is in!"
"Yeah . . . so?" he asked.
"So?!" he repeated harshly. "He's bad news! The last thing we need right now is for them to meet. So why didn't you warn us he'd be there?!"
"I would have if I was supposed to." Dialga pointed out.
"Don't give me that!" Palkia complained.
"Relax, Palkia," Dialga puffed. "He isn't going to do anything to her. It's a coincidence that she's there."
"Do I need to remind you the situation we're in?!" he struggled. "Your friend Celebi as good as failed and because of his sloppiness, a world faces extinction!
"And let's not forget the inbalance is still growing." Palkia continued. "All three of our worlds are in danger! But thanks, once again, to Celebi and that insuffereable Mewthree . . . the only one we have left to rely on doesn't know what's going on. We have to count on a 14-year-old girl who has yet to even fully discover her power."
Dialga allowed him to finish, and then responded a little more seriously.
"Okay, stop blaming Celebi," he started. "Not even I saw that coming. It wasn't his fault. Quit worrying about Hillaree too."
"But she-" Palkia tried to interrupt.
"She will make her own decision," Dialga insisted. "That's what we agreed on, remember? It won't help us to try and force her. Or would you rather she turn out like Ven?"
Palkia twitched, looking a bit pained.
"Have faith, Palkia," Dialga smiled. "Believe in her. She'll make the right choice. . . . I think."
Palkia hesitated. The resolve then returned to his face.
"You might be able to blindly 'trust' her, but unfortunately, I can't afford any chances. Space is my responsibility. I won't leave it in her hands."
Dialga looked surprised. Then uneasy.
"Wha . . . What have you done?" He managed.
"We sent Celebi with a message." A new voice stated.
Dialga looked towards the newcomer.
"Arceus . . . " He uttered. "Why did you . . .?"
"Palkia is right," Arceus noted. "The situation changed once the numans invaded. We . . . can no longer be passive. We must take action."
Dialga looked away, seemingly worried.
"You said yourself the inbalance makes the future uncertain." Arceus went on. "So if we can't see the future, we will try to do all we can to ensure we have one. This is not ideal . . . but . . . I'm afraid we have few options."
Dialga looked back at Arceus dully.
"You're just sore because you know she doesn't like you," he droned.
Arceus looked a bit taken back, but recovered.
"Yes . . . ahem . . . well, that has nothing to do with it," he maintained. "Ven has turned against us, meaning that girl is all we have left. Only the two of them were born of light afterall. The numan problem aside, the eclipse is only three years away. We have to know what she intends to do with the inbalance."
Arceus paused, looking sad.
"And if nothing else, we have done a poor job up until now," he admitted. "We've stood aside for too long. She has had to endure much pain. We could have prevented that. We, who owe her so much . . . and must ask of her so much . . . Need to protect her now."
"Whatever the reason," Dialga said, looking firm again, "Mewthree will not cooperate and I won't blame him. It's not what's best for her."
"So you would rather keep her in ignorance," Palkia spoke up. "How does that help anyone? Even her?"
"She . . ." Dialga began.
"Enough!" Arceus interrupted. "Dialga, your concerns are valid, but it is too late. We have already sent Celebi. You'll agree we are short on time. The numans are conquering one of our worlds as we speak."
Arceus paused again.
"And I too think she should know the truth," he stated.
Dialga was quiet for a moment.
"Very well, Arceus," he said quietly. He then smiled. "Just . . . don't underestimate Mewthree."

Okay, that's what I've gotten so far. Whew, that seems like a lot of information and talking for only seven comic pages. I think there will be another three or four pages after that, but you'll have to wait on those. That part will be okay.
So yeah, what do you think? Is your brain on fire? Or does it just make you more curious? Also, is it just me or has the plot gone into overdrive all of a sudden?! Ha ha!
Also, just in case, let's keep this topic to ourselves. Let's not talk about it off the forum. Thanks.
With the new update schedule, it'll be like a week or so until we get to this part giving me time to make changes if I have to. Just kinda hoping I don't have to where they are already drawn . . .

Ha ha, well, at least it's not so confusing that it scares you off and you want to know more. That's a good sign. _________________ Credits to Oranges_and_Pears for the Mewthree avatar! Yay!

IMO, it doesn't come off as too confusing, just intriguing. _________________

Good deal, so it's been approved of so far. That's good. Looks like I might not have to draw it again afterall.
. . . What's "IMO?" _________________ Credits to Oranges_and_Pears for the Mewthree avatar! Yay!

IMO is 'In my opinion'.
And I agree with the others - it invites thought, but it's not too confusing. _________________ Avatar Image: Hazel, Just Gotta p.405 |

Oh, "in my opinion," okay, I see, I see.
And good. So it seems I was able to accomplish what I was going for afterall. I was worried but looks like I'm okay so far.
Let's just hope the actual comics go over just as well with all the other readers.
