For the off chance you didn't see the page thingy I put up yesterday on Smack Jeeves, I made an audio commentary for Chapter 1 and put it up on YouTube. Here's a link for you.

I had the idea for an audio commentary for a while now. I always thought they'd be fun to do. I like listening to them on movies and stuff.

An idea came to mind also about a kinda reverse audio commentary. Sorta. Basically, instead of me, the creator of the comic, talking about background stuff and junk about the comic, what if a reader of the comic was talking about what they thought about a certain page or what they thought when they read this or whatever. Does that make sense? I just thought you guys might have fun making a commentary of the first chapter as well.

If anyone is interested, let me know. You have to have the ability to record yourself, obviously, so keep that in mind. Using a Windows Program like Sound Recorder would be prefered as I don't know what other formats it'll take. So just tell me what you think!

I hate my voice because everyone hates their own voice. Basically.

I started a new game in Diamond again, and then am suddenly all about breeding cool egg moves in my main game. As such, I haven't done today's page yet. It's just sittin' on my Flash Drive, waitin' for me. We'll see what happens.

I lol'd.
Sometimes when you talk it sounds as if you're literally reading it of a piece of paper or something... I'd suggest to try to make it come out a little more spontanious. It's not exactly annoying (yet), but it is noticable and at times I find myself listening to that more then to what you're actually saying.

Anyway, I think it's a pretty cool idea to haev readers make audio comments as well, and I'd be up for it. Do you have any kind of 'game plan' laid out for it yet?

Reading? Ha ha, actually, I'm not reading anything. I'm just sitting in front of a computer thinking of what to say next. I record a bit, stop, listen to whatever the heck I rambled about, then take the good stuff and record it again. So I guess it's a little rehersed . . .

I'm just monotoned most of the time. And when I try to emphasize something or try to mix up my tone somehow, I end up emphasizing the wrong thing or just sounding weird. So I still need practice I guess.

The game plan for fan audio commentaries . . . I dunno for sure yet. Probably the easiest would be that you would watch the video with the volume on YouTube all the way down and while you're watching it, record your own comments and stuff. Then send me the sound file and I add it to the movie project. If necessary, if you have Windows Movie Maker, I could send the project file I have and you could record onto it. But the file is really big so that might be hard to send. Might max out the e-mail, I think.

I'm open to other suggestions if anyone has any other ideas.
