I've been thinking lately trying to think of Anime or Manga characters that are smiliar to characters in Just Gotta. It took me a while, but I thought of one.

Hillaree is quite a bit like Mahiru in "Crescent Moon." She has the same thoughtful and helpful personality. They also both have special powers. They both do whatever they have to do to protect their friends. They also share special dreams that no one else has. Some major differences between them though is Hillaree has more of a temper and has a harder time making friends.

That's what I've come up with. Are there any Just Gotta characters that remind you of a character from an outside work? It doesn't have to be Anime or Manga based. I just was curious.

Pr. Evur sometimes reminds me of the professor Hikari from Rockman EXE. XDDD And Hilaree reminds me of Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender (even though that's not an anime/manga). Don't ask me why, please, because I don't have an answer. o_0
Robin reminds me of... errum... I think he's a lot like some characters I've read but really he's awesome as himself.

Hillaree kind of is like Katara huh. (It's fine that it's not an anime or a manga. Any characters from any work will do.) I don't know why either, it's just true. Nice.

Heh, I'm sorry. Those were the best characters I could come up with. Have you thought of any similarities?

I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner, I have Hillaree quoting the man for heaven's sake!

Hillaree is a lot like Hiko!

Hiko Seijoro (if I spelled that right and I'm too lazy to check) from Rurouni Kenshin! They aren't exactly alike, but Hillaree does have that same kind of arrogance and attitude towards people she doesn't like. She is also quite powerful herself.

Maybe only I can see the similarities though . . .

Hilaree's Rival(Can't think of the name) reminds me of my own character I was gonna base a comic off of.

Hillaree doesn't have an official rival . . . maybe that isn't clear. She might later but as of now she doesn't really have one. Just people she battles against. I think you might be referring to Robin. He's just a recurring character based of iWish/Rebirth. He wanted to be in the comic, so then I came up with Robin.

I can see how that can be misunderstood. Maybe I'll do an abandoned concept or something about the lack of a rival.
