So I've decided to start a thread where I can post random Just Gotta pictures that I want to draw but have no reason to. The pictures will include character designs, concept art, doodles, gag strips, group pictures, or just art. Hope you enjoy them.

I put the spoiler warning because I will be posting future characters up here occasionally as well. (Not just yet, but I will in the future, hence the warning.) You've been warned!

To start off with, here is the picture I drew of Robin/Rebirth's character, back before he appeared in the comic. I drew it and sent it to him. He said he liked it so it became the final version. (Also the first one, go me!)

Here's one of the spoiler pictures I was talking about! This is what Amjam's character is going to look like. She will be appearing in Chapter 8.

Amjam was very detailed in her description of what her character looked like, describing things like the frizzy/wavy hair and the color of her eyes and stuff. It was very helpful.

Heh, yeah, that's a Pr. Evur plush. It's on a key chain.

Moving right along with the spoilers, here is a character that will appear at the end of this chapter.

I've been sitting on him too long already.

I love him.

. . . So back off! He's mine!

I'll talk a little more about it here in a minute, but don't mention this character off the forum as he is a spoiler and stuff. Okay?

Okay. Here he is.

The chains on his clothes are just a pattern, (not real ones.) The ones hanging from his sleeves and whatnot are chains but just little ones. I am bad at drawing chains, okay?

Like I said, he will be appearing at the end of the chapter we're in now. I won't tell you much about him at all as I want to keep it a secret. When he appears, he will have his hood up, hiding his face from the general audience. That's why I don't want you to mention him outside the forum. As forum members, I think you guys go above and beyond what the other fans do, so you get the extra bonus of being able to see his face.

You'll lose that bonus if you post something on the comic saying, "Oh, this is the guy from the forum!" So don't do it. I'll be upset.

Seriously. You've been warned.

This begs the question . . . what is up with me and guys with long blue hair? Heh, the fact that Pr. Evur has blue hair is just coincidence, so don't think they're related or anything. They're not. The reason that this character has blue hair is because the character he is based off of has blue hair as well.

If anyone can quess who that character that he's based off of is, I'll give them a cookie! (Virtually, mind you.) No guessing for those people I told. I don't know how obvious it is, so I guess we'll see.

But yeah. Saïx is my favorite from Organization XIII. He's so cool! I wanted to base a character off of him, so we have the character above to show for it!

Well, she is the only female member. (Unless this new fourteenth member turns out to be female I guess.) I think she has a cute design and stuff.

Still no Saïx though . . .

Axel is popular, I think. Demyx is another one that I really like. I wish he could have been around more. (I guess that's true for all of them.)

The DS game is going to be awesome! More or less, nothing BUT Organization XIII.

Sadly no. I have another one I'm going to do along with yours and I have all the info I need for it now. I just don't think I'll be able to sit down and draw until tomorrow and that's when a Just Mewtwo page needs to be done. Maybe still tomorrow, we'll see.

So that character based Saïx appeared! Yay!

I wasn't going to have him have his hood up like that. That's why I drew the picture of him with his hood down and stuff, so I'd be ready. But then after thinking it over, I decided to keep his face hidden. There are a few reasons, but the main one was, "He has a hood, he might as well use it!"

Heh, yeah, I'm weird.

If nothing else, it gives you guys knowledge the other readers don't. And so far no one has said anything about this thread and stuff, (barring a joke, hee hee,) and I'm proud of you! I hope this keeps up.

So, there has been talk about what Pr. Evur would look like if he were female . . .

And I just had to laugh at it because . . .

Well . . .

Meet El Evur! Pr. Evur's twin sister! She's set to appear in the Viridian City Arc, which we are in now so in a couple chapters.

El is in many ways, the opposite of her little brother. She's super confident, out spoken, and can be easily annoyed by people. She usually doesn't go out of her way to help people. But she absolutely adores Elrich and is very protective of him. Very much like Gardevoir in that respect. She isn't a professor. She's just a full time trainer.

Gallade there was her first Pokemon and is actually Gardevoir's older brother! He's a lot like his trainer. Confident and protective of his sibling.

I wasn't going to reveal her until she appeared, but I just thought it was too funny. I just wanted to show you guys. Laugh with me!

Edit: Her hair is a little darker than her brothers, which might be hard to tell. I dunno. I also like her jacket. It's neat.

If you read Fruits Basket and like the character Aya/Ayame, you'll like El. Personality wise, she's based off him!

I don't know what chapter she'll be in as I don't plan out my chapters as well as I should. But she's just a few away, so hope you can hold on!

I know. It's actually what I'm going to draw next. Because of my artist's block on this page, I'm catching up on character pictures. I am going to draw you tonight. I'll ink it and hopefully get it scanned and colored by tomorrow night or Sunday.

Not sure when the next page will be up though. Hopefully soon. Just the last panel I'm stuck with.

I didn't really know what he wanted, so I did have to edit it a little. Hope it's okay now.

He'll be appearing shortly after the Viridian City arc is over, so probably four of five chapters away. Dang, that seems like a long time . . . Wish I could update faster.

Like ACL... Basically the meniscus is the pad between my knee joints and cap or something, and I ripped it in some way, shape or form. It kind of hurts to walk, or rather it constantly hurts and I haven't really dealt with it in five years. Yeah, I'm pretty irresponsible to my body. D8

I just noticed the pant cuff on Kingsamurai's character. What is it? Does it serve any function?

And now to Amjam, be more careful! I don't want you to hurt! I broke my foot two years ago, and that's the most serious thing I've done to myself. It hurt pretty bad.

So hope your surgery helps then.

But no, that cuff thing doesn't have a function. The overall design seemed too boring for me, so I added those cuffs on his sleeves and the one on the leg. I like to throw things in randomly to character designs at times.

I drew yet another character!

This is Roku, a character who probably won't be making an appearance in Just Gotta for a good long while. In fact, he'll appear in Just Mewtwo before he does in Just Gotta. Can't say much about him just yet . . .

He does get his name from Avatar Roku from Avatar: the Last Airbender, in case you are wondering. The two don't really have much in common, I just thought the name fit. Design wise, he probably looks likes some character out of some anime or manga, but I can't think of who or which one. As far as I know, he wasn't influenced by anyone . . . exactly.

His hair was supposed to be way different, but I thought it looked better how it is. And it just screamed ponytail. More guys with long hair . . . at least it ain't blue this time. And I totally messed up his gloves, but oh well.

So, chances are you've probably seen Gotta Past. If not, then go see the newest page of Just Gotta. Anyway, I was going to start Gotta Past off with a quick chapter about what the Four Mysterious were doing just before Chapter 6. But then the poll I did ended up showing that everyone most wants to know why Hillaree hates people so much. I decided there should be a reason for the poll, so I decided to answer that question first with a part of Hillaree's backstory. The "Four Mysterious" questions will be addressed in the next part.

So, to hold you over until then, I decided to reveal the identities and some information on the Four Mysterious for you. Here they are!

So yup, that's them. We've already met Shomaru and Minshen, so this is really revealing Azuko and Lyn's designs and names.

And we find out what the Four Mysterious really are. They are called "numans." (It was originally spelled newmans, but then I realized numans worked just as well.) Numans don't exist in every dimension, and not a whole lot is known about them. Some people think they are demons and are all evil, while other people think they are more fully evolved humans. The numans, in the meantime, don't care what the humans think.

I won't tell you everything about them right now, but you will get some. Numans have elements kind of like Pokemon, but there are only four elements, Air, Electricity, Fire, and Water. They will have powers and abilities associated with their element. They don't need to eat food, which is one of the reasons they don't have mouths. They do need to absorb energy from their element every once in a while. In other words, they "eat" their element.

Their social system is usually made up with a king who makes most decisions. He'll have advisors and stuff. If the numan population is unhappy with their king though, they have the option of picking a new one. For the most part, rank and status in the society is determined by how powerful a numan is. The king isn't necessarily the strongest however. In fact, Shomaru is believed to be most powerful numan of his world. As such, he is looked up to by other numans.

Mm . . . think that's all you'll get for now. More later, maybe. About the picture, I'm pretty happy with it. The colors dulled down though on the computer I'm on . . . might just be my monitor. I made it on a different computer, so I don't know. Shomaru is hard to color. There's not such thing as dark yellow. Just dirty yellows, in my opinion. Azuko is easy though. I like her easiness. She's the only one in a pose because I planned out poorly and there wasn't room on the paper for anyone to do anything else.

So yeah. There you go.

Ooh, interesting. It's certainly a unique concept. I'm not sure I've ever seen something quite like that before in pokémon fandom. And their character designs are very cool.

I also really like what you did with Azuko's dress, putting texture in some places--it makes it look like it's sparkling Smile

Wow, it's interesting having more of a background view! This certainly opens up several thought trains for me. I think it'll be hard for me to call them numans or by their names, rather than Mysterious, but it will happen eventually. Very Happy

I really like their designs, and I'm intrigued by their society. I hope we can see more of them in the future. ^^

Heh, oddly enough, I was getting used to "Mysterious" too so switching back might confuse me as well. We're in it together.

And we will see a bit more about them in that chapter I talked about. I'm going to put that one up after the Hillaree one is done.

Heh, yeah, I like using spoilers to keep you guys coming back here, yet I'm afraid of mentioning that there are spoilers here when I comment on Smack Jeeves. I don't know why. Or if that even makes sense.

But yeah, people should visit more often. Or do we just want more people to visit? Either way works.

While getting over my cold/lack of concentration/artist's block, I drew up three future characters. Two of them are fan made, but this first one is original to me. This picture is a big spoiler, so don't talk about it off the forum. Thank you.

This is a character that actually won't be appearing for a good while, and I wasn't going to draw him just yet. I was trying to draw a different character at the time, but he wasn't cooperating, so it turned into this character instead.

His name is Garrett. He is 15-years-old. I haven't pinned down exactly when he'll appear in the story, because I want to bring him in as soon as possible. He's going to be fun. I can't say much about him just yet, but I will say that I hope he will over power the Pr. Evur or Hazel and Hillaree shipping . . . (Hee hee.)

The Charmander next to him is the big spoiler. He has a name, but I haven't decided 100% on what it is just yet. I realized too late that I messed up the markings on his tail, but this at least is close to what he'll look like. You'll just have to wonder about him for a while. Can't say much.

Let's see if anyone calls me out on being a hypocrite yet.

And here is the first of two fan made character's. This Neogeorgia's character.

This is Jackie and her Eevee, Spek. Spek is shiny, in case you're wondering. Neogeorgia asked it to be. Although, I can't remember if Spek was supposed to be male or female. I drew it thinking it was female though . . .

I like how this picture came out. Neogeorgia just requested red hair, so I just went nuts with the rest of the design. I had fun. I think she's cute.

Jackie will be appearing shortly after the Viridian City Arc is over, so she isn't too far away! (I hope!)

I'll put up the other fan character once he approves it. So here's what you get for now!

Anyway, the second fan made character design has been approved, so here it is!

This is Ryan who was requested by . . . Ryan. Heh. So the fact that his name is close to Bryan from Gotta Past is a pure coincidence. I don't mind it, so I hope you guys don't.

I like how his hair came out, but like Garrett, his hair will probably never look that good again. Ryan was pretty specific about his hair, explaining two spikes over the right eye and the fringe over the left. I just took that and went with it. Sometimes I like specifics to get me in the ball park, and other times I like to just go wild.

Ryan kinda looks like a surfer, but he's actually from Lavendar Town. He is making me practice antomy more with those shorts . . . which is a good thing. I can't get away with long pants forever! Just don't be surprised if we only see Ryan from the waist up for a while.

Oh, and his Cyndaquil is named Blaze. (I think.) Finally, someone else has a fire starter! (Out of fan made characters anyway.)

Man, I sure am rambling. I'm sorry. I think some fans might be upset because this Ryan character was just requested like a week ago, but I plan on having him appear in Chapter 9. Most people have to wait a lot longer to have their characters appear. (Neogeorgia was the first one to request a character after Rebirth/Robin did!) But as soon as he gave me an explanation of Ryan and his Pokemon, I got an idea for him right off the bat. It just works out that way sometimes. Not all characters fit into all situations, so some have to wait longer.

For this though, I'm sorry. And sorry again for the long post.

I've had this one drawn up for like a week, but never got around to putting it up. Here's another fan requested character. This is Chaun.

I kinda messed up his eye . . . and I have absolutely no idea how do draw afros. But I'm pretty much okay with how it came out.

I don't know when he'll be appearing yet. I haven't decided. But Chaun wanted him drawn up for his birthday, so I did it. Now you can see it too!

I finally drew something that's not a character pic! Like normal!

It's just a picture of my cloaked hottie that I really, really, really wanted to draw.

Heh, it's not finished yet. I drew it back at the beginning of April and just got around to coloring it. I don't know what I want to do with the background just yet so just left it. I would like to give it some sort of caption thingy, but can't decide on what I want it to say. I may even try something with, *gasp*, shading!

If you're wondering where the chain pattern on his clothes went, well, after drawing all those other chains, I didn't want to do it. Kinda wish I did though . . . We'll see what I think when it's finished.

The picture is more figurative than literal. He's not actually chained up in the comic. I just thought it'd be totally hot to draw.

A few things need to be tweaked here and there, so I'll show you the final version when it's finished.

Even I got the pose wrong. One of his arms looks shorter than the other for no reason. It's just supposed to be a different angle, but you can't tell.
