catchinghow did you catch the main legie?
i'm having trouble getting gira in plat.
even with lowered stats, paralyzed, near 0 hp, i have safegaurd, evasion, and battle items and he still won't get caught. i noticed that when confused, and near full health the ultra ball shaked, THRICE!

I know it sounds kinda cheap, but I just used one of my masterballs on him.
I can always trade another from one of my many other pokemon games (I have all of the ones that can trade with DPPt, so that's about 6-7 or more masterballs).

I had trouble with Giratina too. I ended up having to use my Master Ball if I remember. I tried like three times and he just would not get caught.

i eventually got dialga with a quick ball, however i don't remember if i had luxray or staraptor first when i battled him.
also edit: confused, low hp, and paralyzed=shake three times but no capture. after the second try he hurt himself and i had to start over.

My battles kept going so long that he used Struggle and killed himself. Man that was annoying. I was battling him for a good hour or more.
