Gold and Silver!I think johto is the most unrecognized of the pokemon generations. It sort of flew by in the anime, and as soon as ruby and sapphire came out it was like it was never there! D: I personally love gold and silver! It is my favorite generation. I love mareep!
I founf that Gold and Silver have a problem saving after a few years, though. Mine won't save unless I save multiple times. And even then it only keeps the save for a day, maybe two.
anyone else have a complaint? Worship? anything?

I don't know which is my favorite generation, but I like Johto. I particularly liked how it allowed you to go back to Kanto to collect badges there and see how things changed.
I really, really, really want them to do a remake. It'd be so cool!

My brother beat Pokemon Battle Revolution and they had all the starters on the credits thing except for johto starters! D:

Johto is my favorite season/games as well! (Big surprise everyone, right? (: ) I loved the anime only up to that season time period (was it 5 or 6 ish?) and haven't watched it since, except channel-flipping... My favorite games are G/S and my first was Gold. They really should do a remake, I agree. I've definitely tried to push that point onto people before. XD Who needs FR/LG when you could have a G/S/C remake? It would be so much more fun!

I love G/S/C, because they're better than R/S/E or Fr/Lg.
And they have Celebi there <3
I like to play R/B/Y too. Why? Because there's Missingno. and 'M glitch that I can experimenting with. I like to experiment with glitches :3

Yeah! Crystal is fun! Cyndaquil is cute!
I liked how Crystal introduced the Boy and Girl characters. That was a real plus to the series, I think.

There were other differences like with Eusine and Suicune and such. It didn't have as many changes as Emerald, but it was still different.

I was confused how it would be better to get gold if you liked lugia and to get silver if you liked Ho-oh..
(Because the opposite would be the stronger one... v.v)

For me . . . I don't really care which bird I get. But I'd rather get Gold as that was the version I had originally.

I playing Yellow right now. Trying to get Pokegods (Yes, they're true). I found a Nuo (Oddish-like Pokemon, only with longer hair/leaf), but he's all glitchy. And froze my game =(
I want a Pikablu right now. D:<

I really liked the Johto games. I liked the towns and features, and most of all I liked the Pokemon. That's where Misdreavus origonated from, after all.
I think if they remade the Johto games, it should be Glinting Gold and Striking Silver.

This game was probably the most fun to play through. The rival didn't annoy me as much as the one in the Colour Generation did, the Gyms and Elite Four in Johto were cool because they were different from the ones in the previous Gen, Johto in itself was more fun to explore then Kanto (and all the other regions that we were in in the following Generations), the fact that you could go back to Kanto and see how it changed and how the Gym Leaders had evolved in their tactics was also awesome, and the designs of the Pokémon were just great.
This generation also added a lot of stuff that the previous didn't. There's the day/night thing of course, the splitting of the Special stat, happiness and prolly a few more things that I can't remember of the top of my head.
I found most of the Pokémon pretty disappointing in battle though. I think this Gen also brought forth more NU and UU Pokémon then any other D:

I think Gold, Silver, and Crystal were lots of fun too!
My game still saves perfectly, like it did when I bought it when it came out.
I think that you have to call Nintendo to get a new game battery put in (not sure if they'll do it for older games though).
The best parts for me were that you could go to Jhoto (spelling?) and Kanto and see every thing different (3 years means lots of changes!), and battle the gym leaders and Elite 4 (and Red/Ash).
I wish the Elite 4 were tougher and that there was a Jhoto version of them (with Red as the champion).
I liked battling Red at Mt.Silver, he was lots of fun and he actually gave me a challenge once I got to LV100.
I totally support a remake (I mean they made a remake of Red, Blue, and Yellow, why not Gold, Silver, and Crystal too?)!
