Good training area?I have a level 64 Dragonite. (Trying to get to level 100)Problem is, she's a pain to level up. The elite four is too boring for me, not to mention she only gains maybe about two or three levels everytime I beat the elite four. Is there any place I can train my dragonite (Also other pokemon like my Frosslass, Mightyena, and Ampharos) that is better than the elite four? >_> My Dragonite's moves are Ice beam, Thundershock, Flamethrower, and Earthquake. |

Heh, I don't know why I'm posting here as I will be of no help. I don't know where to train really because I use Lucky Eggs and a Quick Level Up code to help move my guys along. (Although I don't use them at the same time normally, so they don't level up THAT fast.)
What about that volcano place on . . . that island . . . area . . . thing. The one you can go to after beating the Elite Four. The one with the Battle Tower on it. There's supposed to be pretty tough Pokemon there, isn't there? There's also some pretty high level ones in that ice pyramid/temple/thing in the snow town. (Blanking on names right now, can you tell?) |

Oh, yeah, those places. (Reminds me I need to go catch Regigigas...)
Both are very good because Dragonite has flamethrower and some pokemon in the volcano will be good against ice beam. |

When I'm leveling a Pok'emon, I go to the Resort Area in the Battle Zone (that's what it's called, right? ... Been a while since I played) and battle the two Cooltrainers just north of it over and over. They're easy to get to, there's a Pok'emon Center right there, and... yeah.
It may not be the best way to level up, but it works for me. I usually give the Pok'emon I'm training an Exp. Share. |

Lucky Eggs increase the amount of experience a Pokemon earns at the end of a battle. It multiplies it by 1.5, I think.
So if they'd normally get 100 exp. at the end of the battle, they'd get 150 instead. Pretty sure that's how it works. They're hard to find normally. Chansey's hold they but rarely, and then even Chansey's are hard to find. So if you get one it's a pretty cool deal. Unless you cheat code up 999 of them. Then you don't know what to do with them all. |

Actually, she's too strong to gain much exp. points...but, she isn't even level 100 yet! I'm too distracted by Yoshi's island DS. =3
I don't use Rare Candies. I'm pretty sure it actually somewhat weakens a pokemon. Like, for example, you power up a pokemon by powering up one certain stat. (For example, if you have a, say, REALLY slow pokemon, you should fight fast pokemon for a boost to the speed stat.) This is called EV training, I'm pretty sure. (At least, that's how you pronounce it.) But, if you give it too many rare candies, it'll only have medium speed.
