Halloween StuffSo Halloween is coming up. I've never been all that into Halloween. All I really wanted is the candy. I don't mind the kinda cartoony/light side of Halloween, but I am very against dark and scary things. I have an overactive imagination and I have a tendancy to dwell on things. Scary stuff just bothers me to the point that I freak myself completely out.
Yeah, so no scary movies for me. Nope.
But I do like coming up with unique costumes. Two years ago, I dress up as my sister, Luckey Starr, while she dressed up as me! We both like pretty much the same things but with different characters and stuff. Like with Homestar Runner, I like Strong Bad, and she's a Homestar fan. In Fruits Basket, I love Yuki and she loves Kyo. In Ranma, I like Ranma and she prefers Ryoga. (Why are they all rivals . . .?) The list goes on. But so for this Halloween in question, I wore a Homestar Runner Sweatshirt and a Kyo hat, while she had a Strong Bad sweatshirt and a Yuki hat. See? We were each other!
Last year, (and you might know this if you saw my site and news comic,) I was myself in Mewtwo fan form! I just basically wore Mewtwo based stuff like a t-shirt and hat. I also carried around a Mewtwo plush and had a Master Ball painted on my face. I liked that costume.
This year, I have an idea in mind that I hope will work out. What am I going to be? I'm going to be . . . Hillaree! Whoo!

Seriously.
And of course I mean Hillaree the comic character and not Hillaree me. I'm going to attempt to create Outfit A from the poll so I can wear it for Halloween. I looked around for a yellow shirt today to start out with but didn't have much luck. The only one I found that was around the right shade had long sleeves. If nothing else, I could cut them I suppose. I'm not sure how I'll do the straps just yet but I think I know what to do for the gloves.
If I succeed, I'll put a picture up for all to see! (If I get brave enough anyway.)
Anyway, you're free to share your Halloween thoughts and costume ideas, and free to put up pictures too if you wish. No pressure though. Just have fun with it.
