So yeah, don't want to say anything about it yet. I will say, just like I did with the Four Mysterious, say that we will "see" him again in a few chapters. Not sure how many chapters away this "appearance" is though.

I hate suspense too, but since I know the story, I'm not in suspense and therefore I don't mind it.

There hasn't been all that much discussion in the Forum yet. At least not about the comic anyway. Everyone seems content talking about the video games or whatever. This is fine, but I hope this changes eventually. Mostly so that I know that the comic is interesting and not confusing.

Theories Part II!!I must again advise all who look at my comments that I do not know all! Vye will now and again give me spoilers, but not about everything.
About Hillaree's "Dream Friend." I personally think that it is Mewtwo. Hillaree herself said in the first chapter that there was something familiar about Mewtwo, and if you look closely during the dream sequence, you can see the outline of a snout that very much so resembles Mewtwo's from the side. So, I think it was his profile. After all, she is the "Mewtwo Queen!!"
I once again remind you that these are my opinions, and just because Vye's my sister doesn't mean that I know!!

I've toyed with the idea of her friend being Mewtwo as well, but I'm still not positive. And if you remember, there was someone following her in the forest with a similar jaw/mouth silhouette (sp?)
Also, you don't need a disclaimer. Silly, I know you're posting your own opinions. I have a sister. XDDD

Heh, I think she was just being careful with the disclaimer. And also to make sure that people didn't think that she was giving away spoilers and that she didn't know herself 100%.

In light of recent discussions on the page, as the 'friend' shows up again - what is your take on the "Mewtwo", "Hilaree's Father", and.... "Wizard of Oz'-related theories as to the identity of the friend?
I still support the idea that Mewtwo is the friend AND related to her. XD

It's so depressing knowing that the author is here too and knows all the answers to what we're developing theories sometimes... I wonder how those MuggleNet people felt after Harry Potter 7 came out... they published BOOKS of theories and spent hideous amounts of time creating them.
(Well, and they were right on a lot of things. But they also had some totally wrong ideas! XD)

So things have changed with this chapter a little. The main theory going around is that the extra spirit inside Hillaree is her friend. This I'll go ahead and confirm. The spirit is indeed her friend.
Well, at first you were thinking he was friendly and stuff. But now are you wondering if he's really dangerous? You said something like that in a comment.

It is? Oh no!! Yes, I hope he's at least on Hilaree's side (because if he has evil intentions towards her, that would be terrible). I hope her Friend finds himself his own body... I REALLY hope her Friend is Mewtwo, and I wish we knew more about Mewtwo...
Maybe something happened, like in the Origin of Mewtwo short, and his soul was separated from his body, which then died, and then he went to inhabit her consciousness via a different world?
Wow, that's a long shot. I have a feeling I'll be wrong about Mewtwo = Friend, but I truly am worried that Friend = Evil. :c

Yeah, everything is just kinda up in the air right now.
But I will say that everyone should hold on tight for the beginning of Chapter 8. That's when Hillaree's friend will be seen in full view! That's right, his identity will soon be revealed! (Dramatic music!)

My first thought when I saw the shoulder silhouette was "OMG it IS Mewtwo!!!!"
But on further consideration... I don't think you'd be that obvious, Vye. It would spoil the epic revelation.
So I still have no clue who it could be. 0_o

I know, I have the same feeling that if it IS Mewtwo, it's just too easy. Still, I've stuck with the theory that it's Mewtwo for this long, so I can hold out for another page or few.
I'm filled with excitement and suspense. I can't wait to see the friend!

Yay! Picture of Mewtwo! I like that picture of him. It's not my favorite one, but still a good one.
. . . Anyway, heh, it does seem a little too easy doesn't it. Maybe I'll throw in a curve ball so everyone will be like " . . . What?"
