Meh, I can't find the right place to post this .3.

Well, I get into here from browsing AnimaRO forum (Ragnarok Online private server). And then, I found the first sprite comic I ever seen in SJ: The Keyblade Wars. And thus, I'm started as a guest, until I registered, and getting better. At that time, I never use capitals (bite me), and still a noob. I didn't understand what "sprite" mean, until I found it out. And thus, I'm starting as a recolor Moggle (lol). I made my first custom ever, but it's VERY suckish, because I can't shade. I created and deleted my comic many times, either I run out of plot, or too lazy. And at the time I made Ragnarok Online sprite comic, this person comes up (now is my net-girlfriend, lol), and bring me to Sonic trends. I started as a recolor fox, until I started to "learn" from other people sprites. And I increased alot (and pwn'd several people older than me), until I come to what I'm right now.

I liked about three webcomics that I read regularly (Bob and George, Staccatto, and VGCats -_-) and while talking about them stumbled on Just Gotta. I wanted to comment, so I got an account. I'm pretty sure that's how it happened. @_@

I found Just Gotta on the Serebii forums, then after reading it, it inspired me to create my own comic, so I did and made my Smackjeeves account.

I seem to recall seeing it in its early stages and then finding it again and again when more webcomics started being hosted there--I'm a huge webcomics nerd--and said to myself, well, what the heck, let's see what this is about, read some comics, maybe start my own, ne?

And so forth and so on, etc, long story short.

I guess I might as well tell my story. It actually was because of a comic called Ghost Hunters. It died so it's not updating anymore, but I would still check the site religiously. One day, I saw a banner for Mystican Dreams. I started reading it and checking it for updates.

. . . I didn't realize that it was Yuri/GL at the time. I just thought they were friends. Not that I'm totally against same sex comics but I prefer to stay away from them as they tend to get unnecessarily graphic. This one kept it pretty clean, fortunately.

Anyway, I soon branched out and started reading various Smack Jeeves comics. I decided to create an account after a while so I could save favorites and make comments. I wasn't planning on doing a comic. That just kinda happened.

So there's my story.

I found it through Just Gotta from Serebii. ^^ That's... pretty much it.

I searched "free webcomic hosting" and SmackJeeves came up. Nothing too exciting, although it sure took me a while to figure out how to get my comics under the size limit and still have them look okay. xD

The folks on Comic-Era helped me with that, big time.

Well, I searched Pokemon Fan Comic on Google and found a weird sprite one (the kind that swears a lot and stuff) and left... Later I searched free webcomic hosting, kinda like Tyto, and recognized the web address and checked it out.

I have an account (same as my username here....) but no comics... and I haven't been on the account for a while... X.o

I have a friend who's had an account for a while (05wheldonm, if you want to know) and he kept going on about his major comic of the time, Megaman and Betaman. I decided to have a look at it, and... the rest is stereotypical.

It actually was an Alice in Wonderland fan comic that led me to SJ... I still have it in my favorites ^^;; *so the White Rabbit led me to SJ Wonderland*

At the time, I was giving a paper (for uni) on Alice, and as examples of it's power in the present day, I googled Alice webcomics, and my favorite one happened to be hosted by SJ.. and the rest is history...

I used to bookmark comics I found, but then I started wanting to leave comments and the guest option drove me nuts, so I joined SJ and became seemingly infamous by the number of comics and comments I do.. oh well.

And being a Pokemon fanatic, I was sooo happy to find so many awesome Pokemon fanfics, and Just Gotta is #1 on that list! >.<
