A good question.A very good question. Everyone seems to be sympathetic with the Rattata when he was feeling down about not having friends, but I can't tell if they're likable or not. I mean, i like 'em but I may not count for anything.
If nothing else, we'll get to know them a little more in the chapters to come.

I think they're very cute and very nice, but I really can't think of anything more than that until they get more character depth.  I do think the "glomp!" scene was adorable, though.

Great!I liked that part too. Yeah, we haven't really gotten to know a whole lot about any of our characters yet, comparitively anyway. Pikachu and Rattata being the newest characters has made it hard to really get to know them well yet.
But there will be PLENTY of time to get to know them in the future.

Yay! And I kind of assumed that, there having been 70 pages already without a gym badge of any sort. I'm so happy, and thank you so much for putting all of this work into getting a page a day.

You're welcome! I never intended to update daily when I first started. I just had about 7 pages ready to go and just put them up each day because I had them ready. And then after that, I just wanted to see if I could update every day. It still surprises me even now that I've only missed one day.
It's been a lot of fun doing it and I'm glad you guys are enjoying my work! Thank you, one and all!
