Poke Ball Problems . . .So, where is Hillaree keeping her Poke Balls anyway? She doesn't wear a belt. Where are they?
For a while there, she was keeping them in her jacket pockets. (They are Pocket Monsters, after all.) She would keep half in the left and half in the right so she could better keep track of who was in what pocket.
That's all fine and dandy . . . but I didn't take this into consideration when her outfit changed. She doesn't wear her jacket anymore. So yeah. I don't know where she keeps them. All of them in that side pocket on her pants, I guess? I don't know if the regular pants' pockets would be big enough.
Also, how does she keep track of what Poke Ball holds what Pokemon? I dunno, to tell you the truth. I guess I could do it like Pokemon Adventures and have the Pokemon be visible from the outside. But I'm lazy and can't draw small very well, so I don't know how well that'd turn out. Still working on an explanation on that one.
She's just smart that way?
Anyways, yeah. Just rambling here. Ignore me if you wish.

the 'mystery man' holds them until she needs them. And when she does need them, the narrator gives them to her!
My narrator does stuff like that in my comic. It is a fun way to use an otherwise useless character (at the time)

Is there a narrator in Just Gotta. I guess I should know that. Hillaree narrates a little now and then but not a whole lot.

I don't know where she puts them, but I always thought that when you caught a pokemon the pokeball reveals a certain symbol related to the pokemon's type. With me? Good.

I've thought about Hillaree labeling them with stickers or something later on. But I don't know yet.

Best way to introduce something like that is by having her release the wrong Pokémon by accident at some point I guess (which in turn could lead to some character development by either having that Pokémon still win or getting a good beating).
Or you could always say she uses a small symbol to identify each Pokéball... maybe a scratch mark or something.

Heh, I think there is actually going to be something with the wrong Pokemon being released next chapter but don't know yet or not. (So a possible spoiler for you there.)
