Pokeballs!Alright, to start a discussion:
Hilaree only bought three Pokeballs, even though we know and she knows that she has the full intention of training and capturing more Pokemon. When is she going to battle and get more money? Why was she spending money on clothes when she could've made a home for some lonely Zubat (-cough- girls...) ? WHAT IS BOLTZ SO UPSET OVER! Answers, people! Or at least theories.
Shoot. (: I'll post my own when I have any.

Thanks! I was afraid I'd have to start it off after all.

Ha ha ha ha! That made me laugh . . .
Well, in Hillaree's defense, I thought it out using the same prices as the games. It was just a justification that I needed for myself but didn't think I needed to put into the comic. But I keep getting complaints that she only bought three Poké Balls, so maybe I was wrong . . .
Okay, here's how I thought it out in my mind. Pr. Evur loaned her roughly $1,000. She won $350 from her battle with Robin, leaving her with $1,350. Poké Balls cost $200 a piece, so that left her only $750 of spending money after that. That would have been enough for three more Poké Balls, but you have to remember that she also had to buy food, potions, antidotes, etc. (Potions alone are $300 each!)
She bought the clothes last, by the way. She didn't have much money left anyway, and can't carry around too much at a time because food goes bad and she doesn't want a heavy pack slowing her down.
Hope that maybe clears things up.

Oh yeah! I was going to post here again after Page 116 and 117 went up!
Besides not having enough money, there was another reason Hillaree didn't buy more Poké Balls. She didn't think she would be catching more Pokémon, so she didn't think she needed them!
As I've said though, she will catch others. She'll address the Poké Ball concern when the time comes.
