Well, when someone sends me one, I first save it to my computer. This isn't really necessary, but I've learned to do it because if they put it on Image Shack or Photo Bucket and if I just use the same link, sometimes they take it down and I'm left with a broken .jpg. So yeah, I save it to my computer.
Then I upload it onto my Photo Bucket account. Image Shack works just as well, I'd imagine. Don't use Deviant Art though. That doesn't work from what I've seen.
Then on Smack Jeeves, I created a Custom Page and entitled it Fan Art. I used the same template as the other pages. (There's a check box you must check, otherwise it'll just be a white page.) Then to get the images to show up, I type [ img src = "http://whatever.com" ] [ / img ] and that's it. Just take out the spaces all except for the one between "img" and "src." That's still a space. And use the Photo Bucket url for the link, obviously.
That make sense? Then I just save it and then go check the page to make sure it was right. Hope that is helpful.
