SportsPersonally, I'm a hockey fan, been a hockey player for about 11 years... But I love to play pretty much any sport there is out there.
Anybody else here fancy any sports in particular or play on a team?

I really like basketball and golf. I like to play both as well. But I am terrible at anything physical, so I'm not very good at all.

I've always been fond of swimming and used to practice it competively far back in the past, but these days I just can't find the time for it anymore.
I did start again a year ago or so, mainly to improve my condition a bit, but having to get up early at sunday mornings adn everyone in the pool getting in the way because it was always too full made me stop that after a few months as well.
Other then that I can enjoy watching football (soccer) at times, if the company is right and my country is playing, but I don't really watch specific teams.
...
And I can enjoy Mario's Sports games.... lmao.

I'm not fond of watching any sport, I'd much rather play them -- though I did enjoy watching Detroit beat Pitsburgh for the Stanley Cup, ehe. ^^
As for early mornings... ugh. I know all about those. We had 1-2 early morning practices a week with hockey, so I had to get up around 4 to be on the ice at 5:30. Blech.

Ugh, I can't watch ANY tv, much less SPORTS. TV has gone down in quality SOoooOOOooo much since the 60's... I Dream Of Jeannie was one of the last GOOD shows.
That and Dead Like Me. That was a sparkle of light that SHOtime canceled on us. 2 seasons and canceled. My. favorite. modern. show.

I say that modern day (American) cartoons have gone downhill. Avatar is a rare exception.
There are some good shows out there. Like House! I love House! And Monk. Love him too.
Back on topic, my brother for whatever reason uses our DVR to record basketball games and stuff. Not even when he's gone and misses the game. He records it while he's there too. I'm not sure why . . . does he think if he watches it again the other team will win?
