The making of . . . Chapter 8 Group ShotI am drawing a group shot of all the characters that will have appeared by the end of Chapter 8. It's surprisingly a lot of work . . . I decided to give you a sneak peek, so here it is. For you forum visitors, there's only one real spoiler unless you haven't been visiting the Art Gallery.
It's still in my tablet so it scanned kinda funny. It's only missing three characters, I think. Minshen from the Numans, Kuri's Parasect, and Shomaru's Manectric. I like this group shot more than the last one in that I was actually able to get everyone in. And everyone is more in proportion to each other. Hillaree might look a smidge too tall though. This is Hillaree's next outfit, by the way. It is one of the outfits from the poll, but I changed her hair a smidge.
Technically, Robin's Budew has evolved into a Roselia by now, but I forgot aobut this when I drew it in. Sure, I could erase it and stuff, but I figured that Roselia hasn't actually appeared in that form yet, so I am keeping it a Budew. So there.
I'll scan it again once there's more in it, if I get around to it.

Looking pretty amazing so far! Nice Abra 
I like how Pr. Evur looks (as always), and although I still get the Numans mixed up I like the beginning of the one on the far left... Shomaru? Love how Squirtle came out, happy as a rosebud to see Hazel being a fangirl, and I like the mirror with Totodile and Croconaw looking at each other there.
Boltz has the cutest pose in all of this, Spinarak being the runner up. Kuri is just as frightening as always. XD Robin's outfit changed? I really like how he looks, this whole picture makes it obvious how much you've improved from the earlier chapters, because all of our old friends are looking better and better. I just want to hug Butterfree up. Mewtwo (or would that be Mewthree? without the shading, hard to tell, but I'm betting it's the friend because he's actually 'appeared' as a character. XD) has a great look along with Celebi and Hilaree's pose is cool. Nice hands, nice outfit!
That's about all. Sorry for the quick rundown.

Yup, that's Robin's new outfit and that is indeed Mewthree. And that is Shomaru, yep! And glad you liked Boltz. I put more work into him than the others, actually.

Man, I need to really get back to work on this thing! There isn't really that much left this chapter. Well, there kinda is and kinda isn't. But it's going to be a lot of work if I'm going to color it all!

He'll get more attention in the next couple chapters, don't worry! He's very important! It's just hard to spread the spotlight around. That poor Spinarak hasn't been seen in ages!

Hm . . . I'm in trouble.
I don't see how I'm going to get this done by the time the next chapter starts, meaning I will then have to throw in a few more characters because a group shot of everyone in the story by Chapter 8 seems pointless once we're into Chater 9.
And should Giovanni be in there? I don't know if I can make him fit. Let alone the other characters I need to add. *Sigh . . .*

Well . . . now that we're in Chapter 11 . . . and I haven't touched the picture at all since I scanned it . . . Guess I will never finish it. Oh well. Maybe I'll try again sometime.

I like it a lot too. There would just be more that I'd hae to add and stuff. And there are some things I would want to change now anyway.
I like drawing group shots. So maybe I'd get to try again.
