Nope!! that's the point of making the poll multi-selection, because multiple can apply!!

Aaagh I could just about die of happiness! :3 I think I'll start with Totodile again but I kind of want to go for Chikorita because I don't think I've ever played with it as my starter for more than the first gym and sdgjkl; so exciting!

I hope they keep the Trainer Hall in viridian, that was good for training, and maybe add some channels to the Pokegear's Radio :3

When I saw the news on the livejournal Pokémon comm it was like "wait what is this real omg it is omg omg omg omg yayes"—GSC was always my favorite generation, personally, and it'll be fun to see it get a facelift.

Okay, good, so I didn't mess it up. Whew.

I love both Chikorita and Cyndaquil . . . I think I'll have to go with Cyndaquil at first though . . . I guess I could always buy SoulSilver for my sister and use it to trade myself a Chikorita or somethin'. We'll see. It'd be fun to have 'em both for my first run.

It's been so long since I've played through the Johto stories. I miss them a lot though! I can hardly wait!

I'm SO getting these. Gold and Silver were my favorite of the Pokemon series. I Can Start the game off with one of my favorite pokemon, and I hope they keep the whole go to Kanto part... or Change it up and make a go to Sinnoh part.

Nope, that's Silver.

He's the antagonist of the G/S/C games - I assume you haven't played them? In Gold/Silver/Crystal, your rival actually wasn't your neighbor or someone you grew up with. He was an angry young man who stole a Pokemon from the Professor at the beginning of the game, and protested that Pokemon were only tools for him to win fights with while showing up to thrash you. In the comics they delve into his background more, but the game Silver doesn't have much of a backstory (Although some people say it's alluded to that he's Giovanni's son, much like manga Silver has been revealed to be)

But yeah in the beginning of the game he hangs out outside the window like a creeper and if you try to talk to him he shoves you away.

I dunno...
I've always loved the original games back on the Game Boy... but at the same time Red and Blue remain amongst my favorite games, yet I couldn't really care for FireRed and LeafGreen.

I'll most likely end up buying these games, but like the remakes of the Colour Generation, will probably not play tem all that much.
