I may have the whole story pretty much planned out, but things change from time to time. With what's already established with the first 13 Chapters though, sometimes new ideas need major tweaking in order to make them consistant.

There would be some things I would change if I were to redo the first chapters. (Which I never will even with the crappy art because it would just plain take too long.) Here's a few for you.

1. This might make some fans mad, but if I were to redo the story, Celebi would be replaced by Mesprit. At first it was only Celebi's that could travel the dimensions, but when that changed, it meant his character didn't need to be a Celebi anymore. I like Celebi's and all, but I like Mesprit's better . . .
2. Reka, Hillaree's former identity, has existed since almost the beginning. So why in the world didn't I make reference to her BEFORE Chapter 8?
3. Just where the heck is the villain of Just Gotta anyway?
4. I should have had Pr. Evur living in an actual town. Why does he live in the middle of no where? I think I had a reason, but I can't remember so it couldn't have been that important.
5. I rushed into getting Hillaree a full team too quickly. We barely get to see many of them very often. I shoulda taken some time and let her get some of them along the way.
6. Hillaree's poor attitude toward humans is poorly established. I should have shown her interacting with them more before she went into the Pokemon world.
7. I would have someone else behind the Aerodactyl attack instead of Team Rocket. That has taken some tweaking, that's for sure!
8. When it boils down to it, Kas and Ryan had no purpose in the last few chapters. I think I added them into the Viridian Arc on impulse. Since the course of the battle and the story kept changing, they never got an oppurtunity to meet up with Hillaree, or do anything of consequence. I still am trying to figure out what I'm going to have them do, just to justify them. Dang it.

So yeah, there's some of that. In case you care. Too late to do much about them though, huh?

Well...unlike you, my comic was thought out multiple times.
At least, only in the begining. the other parts have general ideas but....no detail...

Vye, although you may think it, the story in the begining is not bad at all.
(by the way, I would be mad if you replaced mesprit as celebi. For reasons unknown to myself, I don't like the trio, actually)
Anywho, I think most anyone would want their own story's beggining to be re-done.

P.S.-It is quite hard to find recently updated subjects. 0_o

1) I think Celebi works much better regardless of the fact that you like Mesprit more. It has been established that it can travel through time, so traveling through dimensions isn't too far a stretch from that.
Besides, Celebi is much more iconic, which makes it easier to accept it as an important part in the story, unlike Mesprit which is part of one of those legendary threesomes, which would mean you'd also have to introduce the other two quite early.

2 & 3) Was there really any need to mention them any earlier? If anything, you're often moving a bit too fast and throwing too much new stuff around, instead of developing some stuff a little better. I was gonna mention this at your own points 5, 6 and 8.
This is always a hard part of writing any story though, since you yourself already know what's going to happen so it's hard to place yourself into a mind set where you don't know anything, and trying to get the right balance between giving enough information and pacing.

4) Does this really matter either? You could have him own a piece of land to have the Pokémon he studies roam on, kind of like Oak has in the animé. You could easily have it be so that there's several farms near his ranch as well, and a small town center with some essentials shops and I guessa Pokémon Center or something.
I can't remember if it was explicitly stated in the comic that he lives "in the middle of no where", but even if you have this wouldn't be too much of a stretch since farm lands are generally pretty far inbetween.

Can't say anything about point 7, but overall the changes you mention seem to be either insignificant or not all that good to begin with >_>

Yeah, there are a lot of things in the story that are poorly established right now. That's why we're taking a chapter or two break before we start into the next bit of action, so I can take some time to develop characters and such a bit more. We'll also start looking more into Team Rocket and such.

I think that tends to be a problem in general for people who do serial comics—if you're putting up the story a page at a time, you can't go back and do major revisions later quite as easily as you could if you wrote the whole thing all at once, and so there are bound to be things that you'd want to change once you've gotten farther in. I've had a lot of very similar issues with my own comic.

That is the reason why I never get very far into my comics because I keep starting over.
It's best for you to keep going because you are just so far into the comic now.

Yeah, I'm just too far into it to do much about it. Even if I went back and redid everything, I'd take forever! So I'm stuck with it.
